The Stairwell

I took the photo that this was drawn from in an abandoned cathedral turned skate park in St Louis. It was late at night, the wind was howling as a storm moved in, the temperature had dropped at least 30 degrees in about 15 minutes. We were trying to decide whether we should go up the stairs to look around when we heard a loud thump and crash up there, so my model just sat down on the steps and turned to me with a look that said, “Nope, not going up there now”
