The Ancestral Legacy
Golden dawn on a deserted strip of beach, on the shore of a river. History is in every grain of sand or blade of grass, and even more so in the intricately carved skull that sits in the sand, looking out to face the sunrise. It is an artifact handed down the generations of your family, an ancestor’s earthly remains, lovingly carved by another family member long ago. Now it is yours, and this is your time.
Actually, I lugged this guy, I call him Robert, out to a point once the stomping grounds of Sacagawea. Merriwether Lewis, and William Clark on the ”Corps of Discovery Expedition”. We watched the sunrise over both the Missouri and Kansas rivers. That probably has nothing whatsoever to do with the book you have written, but I think it is a fun bit of trivia!
