The Enchanted Passage
About an hour from my home there is an old railroad tunnel. It was deactivated and abandoned for decades, but recently it has been taken over by the parks and rec, and a walking trail has been created that goes through it. It was a good place, during this Covid-19 lockdown, to go out and get some socially distant exercise, and maybe rendezvous with a couple of photography friends. I asked one of my friends to model for me. I painted her camera bag and jogging clothes out, and put her in a dress pulling a suitcase instead. I actually painted her to the point that it is not my friend any longer, but a more universal woman on the brink of a journey! She is just waiting for her story to be told.
